We have extensive experience working on a wide range of projects in sectors such as construction, residential, commercial, education, healthcare, industrial, leisure, hotel, infrastructure and energy. We also work on more unique projects, such as film studios, theatres, science labs, police stations, churches and mosques.
We also work both nationally, from the Scottish highlands to the Cornish coast, and internationally, and have previously worked on projects as close as Limerick, Ireland, and as far as Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Sharps Redmore has been providing independent acoustic advice to our clients for over 35 years, and there are some clients that have trusted us to provide acoustic consultancy services that entire time. Although we’ve grown as a company, our principles remain the same – remaining independent, passionate and authentic.
Although our staff hold individual qualifications, they are all members of the Institute of Acoustics, the UK’s professional body for those working in acoustics, noise, sound and vibration. As a company, we are accredited by awarding bodies such as the ANC (Acoustic and Noise Consultants), CHAS, IOA (Institute of Acoustics), Constructionline and ISEP (Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals).
At Sharps Redmore we undertake a range of acoustic assessments fit for your project’s needs. These include but are not limited to: BS 4142, BS 8233, BCO, BREEAM (Hea 05 and Pol 05) and BS 6472 assessments. We are also a UKAS accredited testing laboratory (No. 2809) for carrying out field testing of sound insulation, as required by building regulations for residential properties.
