Lambeth Mission

Sharps Redmore (SR) are proud to have been key project team members at the recently completed Lambeth Mission development on London’s famous Lambeth Walk.

The project is a mixed-use development in central London and included a new church with worship and community spaces for the Lambeth Mission & St Mary’s Church, combined with a 12 storey 137-bedroom Premier Inn hotel.

The high external noise levels at the site and close proximity of noise-sensitive receptors, as well as the onerous acoustic standards required by the hotel operator and the LPA, meant that very high levels of sound insulation were needed to control both noise emissions and noise intrusion.

SR provided comprehensive services during the planning and construction phases both for the developer Citygrove and the main Contractor HG Construction. The role of construction phase site inspections during the build, combined with sample testing at early stages and comprehensive pre-completion testing helped bring the project to a successful completion.
