Sharps Redmore has worked with TradeStars on several projects across their three London locations, supporting the development of small to medium leasable units tailored for growing businesses and their local communities.

At the Islington and Southwark sites, situated near residential properties, we provided detailed plant noise assessments and delivery noise calculations to address environmental noise concerns to ensure the units could be as flexible as possible for future tenants. Our work ensured compliance with planning requirements and the smooth progression of both projects through the approval process.

For their Hackney Wick building, our focus shifted to resolving internal acoustic challenges. Cross-talk issues between units required in-depth investigations, including on-site inspections and subjective and quantitative testing. Based on our findings, we provided practical recommendations to improve the acoustic separation and overall sound quality within the building.
