Sharps Redmore were pleased to have been a part of the transformation of the former Orgreave coal mining site into Yorkshire’s largest ever mixed-use development.

The development comprises a new sustainable community including up to 3,890 homes, shops, restaurants, a primary school, large areas of open space, and leisure and community facilities alongside the neighbouring Advanced Manufacturing Park.

Working on behalf of Harworth Group as well as their development partners, Sharps Redmore have worked on numerous phases of the development, including reserved matters planning applications for residential, commercial and industrial development. In addition to planning we also provided building acoustics design advice as well as undertaking design stage and post-completion BREEAM assessments.
