Chimes Uxbridge

Although we are no stranger to working on a wide range of retail projects, shopping centre renovations can often be an exciting challenge for us as many adjoining demises have to work harmoniously often in close proximity to one another.

“The Chimes” shopping centre in Uxbridge is no exception to this, and their ongoing redevelopment, which began in 2022, saw the addition of a Hollywood Bowl, retail unit and gym to the existing shopping centre and cinema.

Working closely with the project team, Sharps Redmore provided acoustic services to ensure that these new leisure facilities would not disturb shoppers in the rest of the centre, and most importantly, that moviegoers would not be disturbed by the loud bangs from the bowling alley. Sharps Redmore also worked to ensure that there would be no significant changes for local residents either.
