Electric Vehicle Charging

With the UK government pushing into the “Rapid Charging Fund”, allowing private sectors to expand the electric vehicle charging network across the UK, EV charging is becoming more important each year, and Sharps Redmore are staying ahead of the curve by assisting in completing noise impact assessments to allow new charging stations to be installed.

EV charging stations can cause a particular issue, as high-powered charging stations tend to emit a tonal hum, which if in close proximity to residential dwellings, could disturb nearby residents.

Sharps Redmore have previously worked with BP Pulse on several sites including Parkhurst Rd, Islington and Cromwell Rd, Hammersmith.
