Developed on a deserted airfield, racing at Silverstone began in 1947 when a group of friends decided to race on the flattened ground. Since then, motorsport at the venue has developed into what it is today, and the track is now used most famously for F1 and the British Grand Prix races.

The Hilton Garden Inn, Silverstone, is a stunning contemporary hotel with racetrack views and a rooftop bar overlooking the course.

Sharps Redmore were involved in this development in the construction phases, providing acoustic advice on sound insulation between rooms, noise break-in from outside, reverberation in common areas and mechanical services plant noise.

The hotel now welcomes guests year round, promising a comfortable stay and amazing views.
