Since it was originally built in 1906, the Old War Office in Whitehall has been used and visited by some of the most important figures of the 20th Century. From the former chief of the Secret Intelligence Service Mansfield Cummings, to Sir Winston Churchill who occupied a grand suite of offices within the building from 1919-1921, to Sir Ian Fleming, who conjured the idea of James Bond within the walls of the building itself.
Sharps Redmore were privileged to be a part of the six-year renovation of this stunning and iconic building, which now contains a hotel, restaurant, spa and luxurious private residences.
