Recruitment Policy

Sharps Redmore have a legal responsibility to ensure that no unlawful discrimination occurs in the recruitment and selection process on the grounds of sex, race, disability, sexual orientation, religion or belief.

The Directors and responsible for identifying recruitment needs, the candidates for interview, the interview themselves and decisions on an employment offer or otherwise.

Offers of employment, when accepted in principle, are followed by a formal contact for approval. Upon commencing employment, a new member of staff is taken through an induction process by a Director. The Directors are aware of the positive action provisions within the Equality Act 2010 and the Workers Protection (Amendment of Equality Act 2010) Act which came into effect from 26.10.24 and how they apply when recruiting and promoting.
