Building & Environmental Acoustic Testing
In addition to our full range of acoustic consultancy services Sharps Redmore are a UKAS accredited testing laboratory (No. 2809) for undertaking field testing of sound insulation, as required by the Building Regulations and for other requirements. Sharps Redmore have specific staff as accredited testers for BS EN ISO 140/4 & 7 for Building Regulations Part E1 testing, and BS EN ISO 16283-1 & -2 applicable for other sound insulation testing such as Part E3 for schools, or BREEAM, or where projects specifically specify such testing.
Our accreditation does not limit our testing which is undertaken for many aspects of building acoustics and environmental acoustics such as:
