Training Overview
At Sharps Redmore we offer many types of training, both for our staff, and for others outside of the company.
2025 will see the expansion of our training services, offering new services to increase industry knowledge, as we work with outside bodies.
As well our established long term training for staff, we have exciting new opportunities in development, and look forward to showcasing them soon.
Staff Training
As a company, we aim to create a collaborative and progressive learning environment, where individually or as a team, our staff can continuously improve on their knowledge of acoustics.
This can be by supporting specific staff through external training/learning, such as the Institute of Acoustics Diploma, Masters and up to PhD. In house we run bi-weekly “Mind Nibble” fast learning training sessions that benefit the broadening staff knowledge across the company.
Sharps Redmore have an extensive acoustic knowledge library, which we would say is similar that which can be found at dedicated training centres/universities.
All staff are encouraged to engage with the wider acoustic and client industries to learn, and spread their knowledge. This may involve serving on committees, working group or simply giving talks to many types of clients .
We encourage staff to discover their own niches in acoustics, allowing us to have a team with a diverse skill set, ready to take on many types of project.
Industry Training
Certain members of our team regularly provide talks to developers, architects and project teams to enhance their basic knowledge of acoustics or address specific areas of concern for those clients . At Sharps Redmore, we understand that for those outside of the industry itself acoustics can sometimes seem like an incredibly complex issue to deal with, and are keen to offer a helping hand.
